Our Modalities

At Mindful Heart, we offer a wide range of modalities rooted in attachment theory to support you in connecting deeper with yourself, building stronger and more connected relationships, and supporting you to move through the world with more ease and inner peace.

  • EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples) utilizes experiential techniques help couples understand their negative cycles, and effectively express and receive needs and wants without distress.

  • Art Therapy is a multimodal form of psychotherapy that uses various creative modalities—such as scribbling, music, writing, sandtray—to promote healing, emotional growth, and self-discovery.

  • Brainspotting is a new psychotherapy approach that theorizes that the field of vision can be used to locate eye positions that correlate with relevance to inner neural and emotional experience.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured therapy that supports clients in processing triggering and stressful memories by engaging in bilateral stimulation

  • Depth psychology is a branch of psychology that explores the hidden layers of the human psyche—especially the unconscious forces that shape our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

  • IFS (Internal Family Systems) views the mind as composed of distinct "parts" (sub-personalities) and a core "Self". It helps individuals heal by understanding and harmonizing these inner parts.
