As a therapist at Mindful Heart Counseling Center, I work with couples and individual adults who are struggling with anxiety, relationship issues  and life-transitions. The stress of coping with what’s happening in your life (especially now, during COVID) can be overwhelming and I’m here to help you to find relief, discover and experience deep healing, and build resilience for the future.

I strive to help my clients live mindfully and find peace in the present moment. When we can slow down and allow our emotions to be present, even our most painful ones, we can begin to understand what they might be trying to tell us and learn to practice self-compassion. Although avoiding negative emotions can make them disappear momentarily, accepting them without judgement allows us to let them go.

My work with couples focuses on repairing the emotional bond that has been stressed by infidelity, conflict, or miscommunication.   I have completed Advanced Training in Emotionally Focused Therapy  - a well researched and highly effective approach to couples therapy.  Through this approach, I can hel
p you and your partner better understand and break free of negative cycles and ultimately build a stronger, deeper connection.  I am an ally of the LGBTQ+ community and provide a safe, supportive space for all types of relationships.

I enjoy a creative approach to therapy that incorporates art, music, and movement. This can help us find new perspectives and new, better ways of coping with what’s happening in your life. I believe therapy is the chance to find meaning and growth through some of your most difficult challenges. I look forward to working with you!
