At Mindful Heart, we support clients in working through a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship distress using a variety of approaches to support you in your healing and growth.

We are dedicated to providing counseling services that meet the needs of the community including issues related to the many aspects of one’s identity and various phases of life.

Our time together provides the support and guidance to develop greater self-awareness and inner resources such as self-compassion, coping skills, and more conscious, close, connected, relationships.

Our team uses a variety of approaches such as EMDR, Mindfulness, Art Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Somatic therapies.

  • Individual Therapy

    Individual therapy provides the opportunity to experience a deep sense of joy and peace regardless of outside circumstances, increase closeness, understanding and connection in relationships, and transform feelings of shame, blame and resentment into release and acceptance.

  • Couples Therapy

    Using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), our therapists engage in experiential techniques in session to support couples in understanding their negative cycles, identify underlying feelings, and effectively express and receive needs and wants without distress.

  • College Students

    We are here to help you navigate the unique challenges of college life such as feelings of loneliness and depression, peer and romantic relationships, roommate issues, academic pressures and anxiety, substance use, and concerns about post-college life.

  • Child Therapy

    Our approach to working with children is play based and child-led and rooted in the belief that children have an inherent ability to heal when provided with a safe space to freely express themselves.

  • Teen Therapy

    Our approach to working with teens is relationship-centered and developmentally informed.We provide a non-judgmental environment where children & teens can speak openly, explore identity, ask questions, build trust, and feel heard and respected.
